Our Role & Approach

The product decision here was to resist feature creep. That is the defining failure mode of this category. Volume apps routinely grow into media players, equalisers, file browsers and bass enhancers. Each addition makes the app heavier and slower for the one thing users actually opened it to do. We kept it to a single purpose with an interface that works instantly. We also treated user feedback as a product input and not a vanity metric. The app holds a 4.0 average across its reviews. The recurring request in that feedback has been an integrated music player. That's a real signal about how people want to use it and a candidate for a future release. The app stays actively maintained with its most recent update in September 2026.
